Piano Elite at Madrid


The best pianists performing classical and consonant contemporay musical works. Madrid turns into Piano Capital during saturdays from May to July.

 

An essential appointment to enjoy the best perfomances and the master works written by Schumann, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Albéniz, Brahms, Chopin, Godowski, Poulenc, Ravel, Ginastera y Gershwin; together with the consonant and joyful music by Rosenblat, Vladiguerov y Guinovart; and the avant-garde by Torres.

The Resurrection of Christ by Jorge Grundman

Susana Cordón and Habemus Quartet


Next March 22th at the Music Box Auditorium of Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, will take place the premiere of the oratory written by the spanish composer Jorge Grundman (1961-): "The Resurrection of Christ" for soprano and string quartet with the voice of Susana Cordón and the Habemus Quartet, which have recently incorporated Simon Veis at the cello, one of the Madrid Symphonic Orchestra solists at the Teatro Real.

 

The concert will be recorded by TVE for being broadcasted by Los Conciertos de La 2 at the next week on Easter Sunday.

"Madrid al Piano" cycle of concerts will follow this premiere from May on thanks to the collaboration with Polimúsica and Kawai.

 

 




November 24th 2012

Concert at CentroCentro in Cibeles Palace

Habemus Quartet


Next Saturday November 24th at 18:00 pm will take place the presentation of the string quartet Habemus Quartet in collaboration with Medicus Mundi, BBVA Foundation and the City Hall of Madrid in a privilege place like the Auditorio Caja de Música of CentroCentro Cibeles sited at the Cibeles Palace. The Non Profit Music Foundation has collaborated in the foundation of Habemus Quartet which is dedicated to spread the contemporary consonant music caming to be the first string quartet in Spain dedicated to this kind of music and with the goal of recover the audience at the concert halls. This is the program to be performed:

Besides the concert, you will able to buy several publications released by the Non Profit Music Foundation. The benefit of the sale will be set aside for Medicus Mundi. God's Sketches

Brodsky Quartet, Susana Cordón and Jaime Fernández Soriano


In May 2012 it will be released the latest work recorded by Brodsky Quartet together with soprano Susana Cordón and percusionist Jaime Fernández Soriano. This album contains the world premiere recordings of music for string quartet composed by the spanish composer Jorge Grundman (1961-). The works included are Surviving a Son's Suicide for string quartet and God's Sketches for Soprano, String Cuartet and Mallets (marimba, vibraphone and glokenspiel).

 

Released in Multichannel and Hybrid format, this SACD will be available worldwide through Amazon, Arkivmusic and Albany, and in Spain through Diverdi. Also, the digital format will be available for download through more than 400 digital stores, included iTunes. You will be able, also, to hear completely online through Spotify.
