Is a great surprise and a complete pride for all of us to be nominated for the 2008 Spain Music Awards in its 12ª edition, as the Best Classical Music Perfomer for "Meeting with a Friend" and to be the only Spanish orchestra nominated. The winners will be knwon next April 3th at the Miguel Delibes Auditorium at Valladolid.

The violinist Ara Malikian and the pianist Daniel del Pino, will be soon at the recording studio to present a double CD with contemporary consonant music for violin and piano with works of Barbara Heller, Marjan Mozetich, Alberto Ginastera, Ladislav Kupkovic, Lera Auerbach, Astor Piazzolla, Jorge Grundman, Arvo Pärt, Zoltan Kodaly, Gerald Finzi, Darius Milhaud, David Johnstone and Fritz Kreisler.

 

Chamber Music Discoveries is now for sale at United Kingdom through Creighton music publisher and B3 Classic is now at the recording studio to produce a new Chamber Music Discoveries CD with World Premiere Recordings of Adalbert Gyrowetz, Emil Hartmann, Robert Kahn and Paul Juon.

 

The Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra conducted by Ara Malikian will bring us the 12 Seasons project with the vision about the four seasons of composers like Astor Piazzolla with his work "Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas" arranged by Leonid Desyatnikov for violin and string orchestra; Joan Valent with his work "Las Cuatro Estaciones de Mallorca" for violin, piano and string orchestra; Jorge Grundman with his work "Four Sad Seasons Over Madrid" for soprano, violin, piano and string orchestra. This will be the third work for Warner Music consolidating Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra as the best contemporary chamber orchestra in Spain.

 

Obviously, we will try to play concerts of all of these works and at special dates, as ever.

 

Once again, we wish and hope count with you. We continue making defence of beauty.

World AIDS Day Concert

B3 Classic Trio presents

Chamber Music Discoveries


To benefit Medicus Mundi in the World AIDS Day a concert by Trio B3 Classic will have place next 4th of December at the Auditorio of Conde Duque in Madrid at 19:30 pm. The concert will be useful as a sensibilization campaign in the Wolrd AIDS Day.

 

Tickets are free but is needed to pick up it at the headquarters office of Medicus Mundi in Madrid in dates that will be shown in this site. Also, the day of the concert the listeners can purchase at a special price the "Chamber Music Discoveries" CD by Trio B3 Classic, published by Warner Music. The proceeds obtained with the sale of this albums will be donated to Medicus Mundi. The concert will have place at 19:30 pm. Once the concert begins it will be no possible to enter the hall.

 

The concert, which will be broadcasted by RTVE in the forthcoming dates, will include the works which are contained in the CD and which corresponds to a recover work of Robert Kahn, and works by Febland, Newton, Grundman and Johnstone. All works are contemporary classical and tonal music.

Recording of Chamber Music Discoveries

Trio B3 Classic


The B3 Classic trio formed by Joan Borrás, clarinetist, David Johnstone, cellist and pianist Joanjo Albinyana will record world premiere recordings of contemporanean composers which will be distributed by Warner Music Spain. We have recovered a work by Khan and are also included works by Febland, Newton, Johnstone and Grundman. It is scheduled to be released at the end of this year and a premier concert to collect funds for Medicus Mundi.

USA release of first compilation

album of Non Profit Music artists


We have just now publish in USA the first compilation album of Non Profit Music artists. It contents twelve works by Eduardo Laguillo, Jorge Grundman, David Caballero and Joaquin Taboada. Almost all of this works has been previosly published by Non Profit Music with the exception of Cliodhna by David Caballero (Gnomusy) and The Girl With The Stolen Smile (Nanjing, 1937) by Jorge Grundman, which are extracted from the upcoming albums of these composers. This work is available now at online stores like Amazon or iTunes. Once again, all the profits from the sales of this album will be donated to Doctors Without Borders in Spain.

Meeting with a friend

Ara Malikian conducts the

Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra


The new work of the Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra conducted by critically aclaimed and world renown violinist Ara Malikian which expects to emotion the audience not familiarized with the consonant contemporary music. It contents works by Pelecis, Jenkins, Sibelius, Mozetich and Grundman and has been introduced by composer Josep Pascual. Published by Warner Music Spain, it is available now at spain stores. This work, in contrast to Tears of Beauty in which dominated the serenity and calm, includes works of special beauty and rythmic character inside the consonant music.

Meeting with a friend

Ara Malikian conducts again the

Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra


Next 2th of April, Ara Malikian will conducts again the Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra in order to record their new project named Meeting with a friend. This new album will be released near mid of May and will show the works of new consonant music of contemporary composers. For the moment we keep the confidentiality about these authors although their works has been selected. This new CD will be premiered next 16th of June at the Chamber Hall of the National Auditory of Madrid.

Next Sunday February 11th, the second TV channel of Radio Televisión Española will broadcast the Concert celebrated to make aware the World AIDS Day. Ara Malikian conducted the Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra the last October 29th with the following programme:

Subsidized by the Consejería de Cultura y Deportes of the Comunidad de Madrid, this ambitious project means the debut of the Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra, conducted by the prestigious violinist Ara Malikian.

 

Contains works of Atterberg, Hurd, Pärt, Shostakovitch, Finzi, Johnstone, Iglesias, Grundman and. Published by Warner Music Spain, will be available on stores from November 21th on.

Eduardo Laguillo


Educated at the School of Music and Arts in Viena, this composer, mutiinstrumental-artist, singer and studious of Hindu music, has decided to join the idea of Non Profit Music. In a limited edition, numbered of 500 issues and signed by himself, this is the fourth album of electroacustic music published by Non Profit Music to collect funds for Doctors Without Borders in Spain. In stores from 15th of November on.

Concierto Dia Mundial del Sida

Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra


A beneficio de Médicos Sin Fronteras se van a realizar un concierto en Madrid, el próximo 29 de Noviembre, en el Auditorio Conde Duque. El concierto se utilizará, además, como campaña de sensibilización ante las crisis olvidadas y el día internacional del SIDA. Por tal motivo, además del concierto, se ofrecerá una exposición multimedia y podrán adquirirse a un precio especial el CD "Tears of Beauty". Los beneficios obtenidos con la venta de los CDs irán destinados a Médicos Sin Fronteras. El concierto comenzará a las 20:30 horas. Una vez comenzado el acto, no será posible acceder a la sala.

 

Las invitaciones para la entrada se encuentran agotadas para el Concierto del Dia Mundial del SIDA. Gracias a todos por su colaboración. El concierto será transmitido en diferido por RTVE. En los próximos dias indicaremos las fechas de programación.

During the days 25th through 29th  of September 2006, the recording of the CD of presentation of Non Profit Music Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Ara  Malikian will be proceeding.

 

The CD will be made and (solely?) distributed worldwide for Warner Strategic Marketing, Warner Music's subsidiary Group. The launch of this CD will be accomplished next winter.
