Solidarity Concerts

On an annual basis, the Non Profit Music Foundation will summon a concert and profits will be destined to the emergency fund of Doctors Without Borders or medicusmundi. For these concerts it is the intention to select a director, interpreter or orchestra of recognized prestige, who will prepare a specific repertoire aimed to obtain the reconciliation among the general public and the classic contemporary music.

The selected repertoire will have a strong emotional load and will try to introduce to the general public, in a simultaneous manner, composers who normally are not programmed in Spain, as Lars Erik-Larsson, Wilhem Peterson-Berger or Frederick Delius, Vladimir Martynov, Lera Auerbach, Georgs Pelecis or Astor Piazolla, among others. All of them relatively contemporary and whose vision of music, far from approaching the experimental motivation or innovation, was centred on the classic harmony and on the melody, coexisting, some of them, with the most innovative composers that are mainly responsible of separating the public from the classic music because of their lack of comprehension.

Development and Innovation in Educational Technology

The Non Profit Music Foundation has among its goals the fomenting and helping to the introduction of the new educational technologies in the Conservatoires and High schools of Music so that, you discipline as Harmony, Dispute or Composition, among others, could be ”e-learned“ from anywhere through Internet.

With such a purpose, and in partnership with the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, the Conservatoire of Music of Madrid and the Ministry of Education and Science, an agreement of collaboration will be established for the development and aid to the implantation of these technologies. For this reason, the Non Profit Music Foundation will wish to count on these institutions.

Investigation, Development and Innovation in Technologies of Composition, Recording and Musical Production, as well as of Broadcasting of Contents

Promoting the accomplishment of Doctoral Theses and Carrer Final Projects applied to the investigation, development and innovation in technologies of composition, recording and musical production, as well as of diffusion of contents using systems of telecommunication, are also fundamental aims of the Non Profit Music Foundation.

To accomplish this, specific aids and agreements will be sponsored by both, the Foundation and Spanish and International Universities.

Record Company

The first activity of the Non Profit Music Foundation was the creation of the Non Profit Music Record Company label. Due to the complexity that bears the creation of a foundation, the first steps were taken towards the creation of a record company let new composers be known within the instrumental contemporary music and with a deep emotional component.
